submergence

Submergence was a solo exhibit installed at the Rockport Art Association & Museum from August 7 – 26, 2021.  The show consisted of paintings, videos, a "She shanty", and explorations of submerging into one's creativity and facing one's inner monsters.  The walls of the gallery were covered with deep blue fabric to give the suggestion that one was leaving one world behind and entering another - a world of submergence. Attached to the walls, one could find various eyes of sea creatures that remind one that we are but mere visitors to their world.
