PUPPETRY

Alison had the great fortune to study puppetry construction and manipulation for stage and TV with Master Puppeteer Nikki Tilroe from 1999 - 2002. Shortly after, Landoni created her puppetry business, Potamus Puppets, and performed in corporate videos as well as live shows for local organizations. In 2004 she created a puppet Spooz the Cat based on the character from her book A Place for Spooz and has also added Food for Spooz to the book series. She also created Rabbles the Rabbit for the independent sitcom The Green House for which Landoni was a co-writer, video editor, and actress.

Back in the 1990s, several short Super 8 films were created such as the surreal, Dodge 'Em, however, they have yet to be digitized. Alison hopes to continue creating films and has several future ideas percolating. Below is a list of videos that are samples of collaborative and vignette work.

  • 2004 - 2010: Spooz the Cat appears in several PSA videos for a local toy drive as well as National Pet Week. Also appearing on this channel are the opening credits, a musical number, and a call for volunteers for the independent sitcom The Green House created with Jim Wickey and Ben Wickey:  View various videos for The Green House &  Spooz The Cat

  • 2021: View videos that accompanied paintings in the 2021 RAA&M Solo Exhibit: Submergence

  • 2022: This channel was created as a project for an AATH Humor Academy project to destigmatize ADHD and disorganization: Cluttered By The Sea
